What you'll do

A tour up to the national park, stopping at Villaflor, which is a small village on the mountain. The tour continues on to visit: Queens Zapatilla Viewpoint, Roque de Garcia, Llano de Ucanca and then there is the option to either go on the cable car or if you do not wish to go on the cable car you will be taken to Minas de San Jose and you can see the spectacular views of Teide. 

This is the only excursion that we offer which will take you to the cable car.

If you wish to also book the cable car, please select the tickets for the cable car also you cannot book this on the day it must be booked in advance as we are given allocated time slots 

Please note the cable car is not guaranteed it will all be weather dependent. Should the cable car not run you would receive a refund for the cable car. 

We advise to take a drink and some snacks with you, although there will be places to stop. 

Don't forget to wear decent shoes or trainers and take a light jacket or cardigan as it can get cold on Teide.

Can I just book the day tour?

Yes you can just select the ticket for the day tour.

How do I book the cable car?

When selecting your tickets just select how ever many people are going on the day tour and then select the same number of tickets against the cable car option 

Can I just decide on the day if I want to do the cable car?

No, you need to book this is advance as we are allocated time slots on the tour. 

I dont want the tour day I just want to book the cable car and drive there myself?

The cable car option we offer, forms part of an excursion and it cannot be sold separately. 

Is it cold up there?

The temperature can be cooler up on Teide so we recommend dressing warm, taking a light jacket or jumper and wearing decent shoes as the ground is rock formation. 

What do I do if my cable car is cancelled on the day of my tour?

You would receive a refund for your cable car but not for the tour. 

Can I get a refund of the whole tour if my cable car is cancelled?

No, we offer the cable car as an additional extra, but it is never guaranteed to run as we dont know what the weather will be like on that day.
