What you'll do

Embark on a spectacular adventure and experience the natural beauty of Tenerife's stunning coastline with the Freebird masca boat trip. Departing from the idyllic Puerto Colon, the 4.5 hour journey takes you on a breathtaking voyage along the rugged cliffs, volcanic formations, and crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

As you sail out from the harbor, you'll be welcomed by the refreshing sea breeze and the sound of the waves. The friendly and professional crew will greet you with a complimentary drink before setting off towards the impressive Masca.

As you cruise along, take in the stunning views of the cliffs, including the famous Los Gigantes cliffs towering over 600 meters high. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins and whales that frequently visit these waters and playfully swim alongside the boat.

As the boat approaches the Masca Bay, you'll be struck by the dramatic landscape with its towering cliffs, secluded coves, and turquoise waters. Here, you can go for a refreshing swim in the calm, crystal-clear waters or snorkel(not included) among the colourful fish and marine life.

Your boat includes delicious lunch and complimentary beer, soft drinks, and water throughout your day. 

The Freebird masca boat trip is the perfect way to spend a day out at sea, soaking up the sun, enjoying the stunning scenery, and creating unforgettable memories.

Seating is available all over the boat, with sun loungers available on a first come, first served basis. Pickup is available from most resorts in the South and West of Tenerife daily and from the North on select days. Includes

You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your trip. 

How to get here

  • By Car

    Head to Puerto Colon Harbour, the boat sails from pontoon 10 or 15. There is parking in the port.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I get on the bus for my trip?

We will include details on your ticket with a description of your pick up if its not outside your hotel. We recommend being there 10 minutes before. 

Can I modify or cancel my ticket?

You can cancel as long as its more than 24 hours in advance and if you wish to amend just drop us an email at [email protected] we will need your booking reference and name included. 

What food is included in my trip?

On the 3 hour sailing a sandwich is included along with soft drinks, water and beer. 

On the 4.5 hour trip its a hot buffet of chicken, rice, bread along with soft drinks, water and beer. 

Ice cream is not included. 

What drinks are included?

Beers, soft drinks and water.

How do I book last minute?

Is the boat wheelchair friendly?

Its not possible to take a wheelchair onboard so its important you have mobility to be able to get onboard. If you are unsure just contact us [email protected] and we can see if the boat can accommodate your mobility needs. 

What should I do if the bus hasn't turned up?

What do you do to protect the whales and dolphins from the boat?

We are very cautious and respectful of the environment of the whales and dolphins, we respect the rules of the ocean when it comes to the animals.
